Beta launch plan

After thinking things through, we've decided to scale back a bit and do a rolling launch of our beta program. We'll start with our friends and family and then expand the number of accounts at our service. We want to work out all the bugs with a friendly audience first and then we'll do a hard launch in January for the general public.
